This graduated pathway is designed so each level prepares you for the next through a combination of nature’s challenges, clear responsibility and supportive community. You begin by exploring ideas and your own patterns, then build skills and mindset through online learning, test them in short wilderness experiences, deepen them in live‑in immersion, step into stewardship and leadership, and finally root your life in a community committed to the greater good of the Chilcotin Ark.
How the Journey Progresses
The Human Potential Training Journey is a clear, step‑by‑step pathway where each level prepares you for the next. Self Study creates awareness and curiosity, Online Courses turn that awareness into understanding and basic skills, Field Practice applies those skills through nature’s challenges, Immersion builds lifestyle and professional competencies through nature’s challenges, Stewardship training develops stewardship and leadership through nature’s challenges, and the Learning Village anchors everything in a long‑term, community‑based way of life.
At every stage, you choose how far you want to go. You can pause, integrate what you’ve learned, then re‑enter the journey when you are ready for your next step.
Each of our training programs are facilitated in partnership with our community of partners, including Trails to Empowerment, Wilderness Trails, the Chilcotin Ark Institute and Fortress Books and Web. Find out more on our Partners page:
The Principles Behind Every Level
All training levels are built on the Six Principles: Personal Development, Nature Connection, Nature Conservation, Self‑Sufficiency, Empowerment and Conscious & Aware. These principles are brought to life through proven frameworks such as Maslow’s Hierarchy, the Conscious Chart, the 7 Habits, the 5 Levels of Leadership and a practical Meaning of Life inquiry. Together, they provide a consistent roadmap so every experience, from an online module to a multi‑year immersion, contributes to the same long‑term growth.
